     Weddings are intended to be a ceremony marking the union of two people in love, who are choosing to spend their lives together. It’s often celebrated with family & friends, lots of food & booze. Occasionally some interpretations of the chicken dance, or the Nut bush city limits. 

     We wear fancy clothes, get our hair & make-up done, we make seating plans, set menus, choose flowers, venues and the list goes on. However, the one memory that will live forever amongst any wedding attendee is how it made them feel. When you get that warm fuzzy feeling inside and know that you’re in the presence of true love, nothing compares to that and suddenly all the rest of the stuff just doesn’t seem as important. 

     Without a celebrant, you can have everything else and it would still be a rocking party, but it wouldn’t be a wedding. In short, you can make whatever choices you want about what kind of party you want to have, but to make it a wedding you have to choose the celebrant that’s right for you.

     I like to laugh, and share experiences, when I write; I put this in every ceremony I craft. I like to take the audience with me on your journey of love so that they feel included and that a little bit of your magic is shared with them.
